Study summary
Liquid youth is one of the main challenges for contemporary security, expressing new forms of identity construction marked by uncertainty, the fragility of social ties and the growing influence of digital environments. In Latin America, this phenomenon is aggravated by inequality, exclusion and structural violence, generating manifestations that go beyond traditional public-security responses.
Faced with this scenario, this research analyzes the phenomenon of liquid youth from the standpoint of strategic foresight, with the aim of identifying the factors that shape its evolution, building future scenarios and providing tools to anticipate risks and design security policies that are more preventive, comprehensive and adapted to new social realities.
